Daymon Design is looking for an Account Manager, a critical role focused on managing projects with precision and excellence. As the primary point of contact for both clients and internal teams, the Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that all projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. Utilizing best-in-class project management and client relationship skills, they oversee the entire lifecycle of each project, from conception to completion. This role is hybrid with up to 3 half days a week visiting the client’s office and Merchandising Activity Center in Goodlettsville, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being on-site at the client’s office in Goodlettsville, TN up to 3 half days a week to: review and process printed packaging and production samples; attend in-person meetings; print out design concepts and occasionally drive them to the Merchandising Activity Center (1.5 miles) to mockup shelf sets. 
  • Fully responsible for managing projects with best-in-class (BIC) project management skills, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Communicates project status clearly both internally and externally, and takes diligent notes, distributing them promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Serves as the primary day-to-day contact for core client relationships, acting as a liaison between the client, external vendors, design, and production teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Ensures the studio has all required assets and directions to complete each task, offering clear artwork guidance when needed.
  • Efficiently and accurately estimates project scope, including managing and identifying out-of-scope expenses, to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Keeps an accurate project forecast throughout the year, helping to plan and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial goals.
  • Collaborates closely with internal cross-functional teams to keep projects on track, leveraging internal processes to drive successful outcomes and ensure team alignment.
  • Manages the photography process, including scheduling photoshoots, coordinating product samples, and collaborating with design to develop detailed photo briefs.
  • Develops clear and strategic briefs for internal artists, effectively translating the client’s vision and interpreting provided project assets to ensure successful creative execution.
  • Manages the project and artwork proofs in the project management tool, overseeing timely task completion, timeline management, thorough note taking, and overall coordination to keep the project moving efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5+ years relevant experience 
  • Project management experience required
  • Client relationship management experience required
  • Experience working with a large team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in estimating project costs accurately and maintaining an ongoing project budget to achieve profitability and financial targets
  • Experience developing or presenting clear and thoughtful briefs and direction to internal teams
  • Familiarity with packaging, branding, or design-related fields required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Travel

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree required.
